Jim Hopper is a clinical psychologist, teaching associate at Harvard, and nationally recognized expert on psychological trauma. Besides writing a number of scientific studies investigating the effects of trauma on the brain, Hopper has served as a leading forensic expert witness for cases regarding sexual assault, recovered memory, and childhood abuse. As an expert witness, Hopper provides evidence that the phenomenon of recovering accurate childhood memories of abuse is generally accepted by the scientific community.
